Prizm Solutions was formed back in 2006, when Peter Robinson and Tracy Pound saw an opportunity to radically change the way insurance is transacted, by offering a high value, low cost, ethical and professional approach to handling commercial insurance.
Since then, we've won over a dozen awards including Best Small Business of the Year in 2008, Best Loved Broker in the UK in 2010 and the Bluefin (Hedron) Network Star Broker award TWICE!
There are now 15 of us, and between us we look after premiums totalling in excess of £6 million.
Meet the TeamWe are an insurance brokerage.
We are part of the Hedron Network (which just gives us a bit extra buying power), but we are totally independent and simply do what is right for our clients.
Our specialism is SME Business insurance, and on the back of that both Household insurance (including policies for empty properties on behalf of executors and/or with other unusual features) and Legal Indemnity insurance (missing beneficiaries, missing wills, rights of light insurance) all of which we'll happily try to help you with.
Our success rate for helping new clients is 60+%, so we're able to help over 3 out of every 5 people who approach us.
Our retention rate for existing clients is 97%, so most people who become our clients like the way we operate and stay with us.
Our biggest client has a turnover of over £300 million. Our smallest client has an annual turnover of less than £5,000, so we can cater for all shapes and sizes of business. And if you want something we can't do, we'll do our very best to point you in the direction of someone we think may be able to help you.
We deal with over 100 insurers and underwriting agencies.
However, if their credit rating isn't good enough then we won't use them.
We are reluctant to deal with any organisation who hasn’t got at least a BBB credit rating or are not based in the UK, quite simply because we worry about their ability to be there when you need them i.e. in the event of a claim.
Doing the job right, as in getting the client the right policy at the right premium and, in the event of a claim, getting them the full settlement to which they are entitled are the only things that matter.
